Blue Colorant

Does the blue color stain? What is it used for?

What is the blue color?

We don’t use a permanent dye but our spray solution will be blue in the spring and fall. The colorant is a spray pattern indicator that allows our technicians to ensure that they achieved the proper coverage to the treated area.

It also allows the customer to have the confidence that the service was performed on their properly correctly.

And, to be frank, it’s a great marketing tool for us.

Does it stain?

Nope. The colorant can hang around for a while, but it can be washed off and it breaks down with the UV rays from the sun.

We train our technicians to apply our treatment in a clean manner. This meaning that there should always be a minimum amount of colorant on things other than the grass being treated.

If there is an excessive amount of colorant on something, please let us know and we will look into the matter and clean what is necessary.
